Candidates for treatment must have a medical history, physical examination by a veterinarian, and diagnostic tests are required to confirm the diagnosis of feline hyperthyroidism.
Professional Center
For veterinarians, we rely on the BUN (blood urea nitrogen), creatinine, urine analysis, kidney size, and blood pressure to evaluate and monitor feline kidney function.
